    Live at Berners

    Live at Berners, our iconic monthly candlelit supper concert series will once again light up Berners Tavern on the first Friday of February, March and April 10th. Guests are invited to dine by candlelight as our house string quartet reimagines timeless Pop Classics in an intimate, unforgettable setting.

    Set times: 19.30-20.00 / 20.30-21.00 / 21.30-22.00
    Dining: À la carte menu available throughout the evening.

    Burns Night at Berners Tavern

    Join us in raising a glass to the Bard at our annual Burns Night celebration, evening of Saturday 24th January.

    Traditional Scottish dishes including, of course, a classic (or vegetarian) Haggis and Singleton 12 whiskey cocktails will be served alongside our regular A La Carte, all accompanied  by our ceilidh band and piper, performing three lively sets between 7.30pm and 10pm, bringing the spirit of Burns Night to life.

    Those unable to make the main event, will still have the chance to sample our Scottish 
    specials at our Sunday Roast on Sunday 25th.

    Our new Lunch Set Menu is now available, Monday to Friday, showcasing a seasonal selection of thoughtfully crafted dishes, from warming starters to satisfying mains and elegant desserts, perfect for a relaxed midweek break.

    A Taste of Winter at Berners Tavern
    As the seasons shift, Berners Tavern welcomes winter with a menu that celebrates depth, warmth, and refined comfort. New highlights include a delicate Orkney Scallop Crudo, the richly layered Caramelised Onion & Pheasant Soup, and a bold twist on tradition with Octopus "Char Siu." For heartier appetites, the Caramelised Squash, Mushroom & Celeriac Pithivier offers a beautifully crafted vegetarian centrepiece. The meal ends on a crisp, elegant note with an Apple Mille-Feuille - a fitting tribute to the season's finest. Winter never tasted so good.

Situated above Berners Tavern, the Private Dining Room is an intimate space seating up to 12 people.

A modern, long dark walnut table with rose upholstered chairs is placed under an original historic skylight with atmospheric lighting.
